Breaking the Barrier
 

The whole “ILY” thing with Brian is kind of like breaking the sound barrier. There’s a big bang moment, you’ve achieved … something. But afterwards the world is still the same place. Brian is still the same man; if there are cracks in the marble, they’re not visible to the naked eye.

So you kind of wonder what the whole thing was about – why it was such a big deal.

Then you remember how amazing it felt, right in that moment; and hope glimmers like light down a long tunnel.

It’s reason enough to keep attacking that barrier.
