Gratitude
 

Emmett would be surprised to know that Justin and Brian both envy him.

Justin envies the way Em seems to have moved on from Mississippi, left behind all the pain his family caused him. Justin’s never quite been able to do that, and things like not being invited to his father’s 50th birthday still hurt.

Brian envies how easily Emmett says ‘thank you’. Brian being Brian he finds it hard to express gratitude for his friends’ support.

Even when they really come through.

Like sending Craig’s favorite stripper to brighten up his family party.

And providing her with a camera.
