"The cat blew up!" Gus threw his arms wide with a level of enthusiasm only a seven-year-old, or Mikey, could muster.
"Gus," Justin started and Brian cut in before his favorite public service announcement could weigh in on the perils of microwave cooking, the veracity of urban legends, or both.
"We'd better go to the diner and warn Grandma Debbie to keep stray cats away from her microwave." Brian scooped Gus up and headed for thedoor. He pretended not to hear the crinkle of aluminum foil.
"You're not getting away from my tuna casserole that easily." Justin vowed, following.
