Brian found his lover asleep on the couch with Letterman on, as usual. He loved the little things about Justin and this was one of them. Brian had always had a fascination with watching Justin sleep. The blonde seemed so young and innocent in slumber. He thought back to that first night, when he awoke to find those piercing blue eyes staring at him. He had known right then and there that if he didn't spend forever waking up to this man, his life would be meaningless. Too bad it took him so long to vocalize his feelings.

They had wasted so much time and he wasn't sure that Sascha and Dylan had the time to waste. He kissed Justin's lips softly, arousing the younger man from his dreams.

Stretching, Justin yawned, "Brian."

"Hey Sunshine."

"
Did you go see Sascha?"

"Yeah," he whispered and pulled his lover into his embrace as he told him the plan he had.

Dylan was napping in the chair next to Sascha's bed when Brian tapped him on the shoulder and motioned for him to come outside with him. He pulled the younger man down the hall and spoke with him and several nurses and Sascha's doctors. Once the plans had been approved Brian set about making it happen.  He gave everyone their instructions and sent Dylan on his way to pick up the clothes they would need for the night.

Two and half hours later Dylan returned to find Sara sitting with her sister. Sascha was holding BJ and laughing at his antics. Sara looked up as
the door opened and smiled at her sister's boyfriend. She, of course, was in on the surprise and couldn't be happier for Sascha.

Kissing Dylan's cheek and promising her sister she'd be back in the morning with new Glamour and Cosmos for her, Sara gathered up BJ and his things and left.

"Ok wanna tell me what the hell is going on here?" Sascha asked suspiciously.

Dylan covered well, "I don't know what you mean."

"Enough of the dumb act. I know something is going on here and I want to know what it is right now."

"Nothing is going on Sascha. I swear." Dylan avoided her eyes, knowing that if he looked at her he would spoil the surprise.

"What the hell is going on, Dyl?," she pressed the issue.

"A surprise. Come on," Dylan picked her up and placed her gently in the wheelchair. He pushed her slowly toward the nurses' lounge, stopping just outside the door. Kissing her softly he took her into his arms and pushed open the door.

Sascha gasped at the sight before her. There was a small, linen covered table with china and crystal. The room was lit by candlelight and the most delicious aroma wafted on the air.

"Did you do this?"

Dylan looked down into her eyes and whispered, "I had a little help."

Sascha kissed him, letting the kiss linger as they crossed the room. Dylan sat her down on the cushioned chair and took his seat across from her. A waiter appeared and spread the feast out before them.

Sascha and Dylan dined on Walnut-crusted Chilean Sea Bass, Roasted New Potatos and Spinach-Almond Salad with a Balsamic Vinegar Dressing.

It was the first time in weeks that Sascha had eaten an entire meal. The conversation ran from the Sascha's health to their dreams for the future.  They drank sparkling cider and talked until the waiter came back to clear the table and returned with dessert.

As they ate the decadent Black Forest Cake, Dylan moved his chair next to hers and held her hand, looking deeply into her eyes. He took a deep breath and told her what he had been longing to  say for weeks.

"Sascha, I love you."

She sat in stunned silence, tears forming so she batted her eyes to keep them from falling. Dylan waited several minutes in fear.

"Honey, did you hear me?"

"Yeah, I heard you. I just can't believe you said it. Oh Dylan, I love you too. I've wanted to tell you forever now. I was just too afraid  you didn't
feel the same."

"How could I not feel the same? My god woman, you are beautiful and strong.  I think I fell in love with you that day I walked in here looking for your father. You are the bravest person I have ever met and I just can't imagine what my life would be like without you in it."

"Dylan, stop. You should be out with someone healthy. Not stuck here with me. I could die."

"Don't you say that, baby. I love you. YOU, not anyone else. And like I told your father I'm not going anywhere. I'm here to stay. I'll be here for you no matter what. And when you get out of here, I plan to show you just how much I love you in every way possible."

He leaned over and brushed the tears from her eyes, kissing her lovingly.

Justin and I listened at the door to this young man tell our daughter how much he loved her and of course Justin cried. I could only hope that he
meant every word and wouldn't let her down. We stood back and watched as Dylan carried her back to her room. Justin's smile lit up his face and even I felt happy for my little girl.

In a few short hours I had finally realized that Dylan was serious about loving Sascha. I thought about all the time the young man had sat with her, holding her hand while she vomited, playing cards with her when she was well. Dylan was the right man for my little girl and now that I had opened my eyes and seen it for myself, I  would do everything in my power to make sure their life together was a happy one.

I turned to my lover and took his hand, pulling him down the hall behind me.  I didn't speak to him until we were in the car on the way home. I took a hand off the steering wheel and placed it gently on his thigh. His smile warmed me, and my hand began to wander north.

"Bri, watch the road."

"How can I keep my mind on driving when you are sitting over there looking so delicious?"

"Well, try harder ok?"

"Oh it will be harder I promise."

Justin's laughter filled the car and my hand rested on his rapidly growing erection. Despite his protests he was aroused and I couldn't wait to get him home.

Justin ran into the house with Brian close behind. They took the stairs two at a time until Brian finally caught him. Pressing him against the wall,
Brian ravaged his mouth with his own, claiming him as he did everytime he could. Justin pulled at Brian's shirt, freeing it from the waistband of his pants. Breaking the kiss and pulling the shirt over his partner's head, he captured one taut brown nipple between his teeth.

Brian's moan was audible throughout the house and he felt his cock tighten even more in his pants. Justin's hand found the hard member through the linen pants and began to stroke slowly. Brian threw his head back against the wall, knocking a painting down in the process. Neither man seemed to notice.

The girls upstairs smiled at one another knowing that no matter how much they bitched, each one of them envied their parents. They all knew that no matter what, their fathers would find a way to be together and after all these years they still couldn't keep their hands off of each other.
