Justin was splashing layer upon layer of paint on a huge canvas that he had anchored to one wall. His music was turned up to beyond loud. The best thing about his studio was that it was so out of the way that he could paint with his ear blasting music and no one could complain. He was dressed in one of Brian’s old t-shirts and a pair of holey cut offs. The studio had a beat up air conditioner that had seen better days but Justin didn’t want to waste his hard earned cash on a new one. Not just yet. Besides, it still worked, sort of.

Justin twirled wiggling his hips as the paint slapped against the canvas. He was in his "Pollock" phase but without the angst and drama that Pollock had gone through. As more paint hit the canvas, Justin turned to load up his brush. He jumped about three feet into the air when he realized he wasn’t alone. Brian was standing there sporting a wide grin, a picnic basket and enough wood to, ahem, erect a barn.

"Hi Sunshine!" Brian drawled.

"Brian!"

"That’s me," Brian said as he set down the basket in preparation for the blond that was about to fling himself into Brian’s arms. He just about stood up when said blond was in his arms kissing him silly.

"I should visit more often," Brian said smugly when he was finally let up for air. He looked down his nose to see a set of sparkling blue eyes looking up at him. "I brought food," Brian said indicating the large basket. "All your favorites and enough of it to feed several starving artists."

Brian was rewarded with a huge Sunshine smile.

Justin tugged on the waist band of Brian’s jeans, pulling him to the sofa on the other side of the studio safe from the paint and turpentine.

"So I take it you’re hungry for something other than food," Brian teased as Justin pushed him onto the sofa then dragged the t-shirt off of his sweaty body.

"Starving," was all Justin would say.

After about an hour of frantic sloppy sex, the boys laid back to catch their breath.

"I missed you," Justin murmured.

"I could tell," Brian said with a chuckle. Justin lightly smacked Brian’s chest with the back of his hand. "You ready for some protein that you eat off a plate?"

"Yeah," Justin replied with a grin. Brian wiggled his way out of Justin’s arms to retrieve the basket. Justin got up to get a couple of small folding tables for their feast.

After digging into the basket for one of the huge sandwiches that Brian brought, Justin asked, "Did you come all this way to feed me?"

"Don’t I always come for you," Brian said as he nibbled on a turkey sandwich. Justin snickered around his loaded roast beef sandwich. "Easy there, pardner. Wouldn’t want you to choke on your beef," Brian said as he waggled his eyebrows. Justin swallowed before he laughed out loud. Brian smiled, he so missed Justin’s laughter, smile and everything.

"What are you painting?" Brian asked before he could get any more lesbionic. Justin launched himself into the inspiration for his latest project, the influences on him and the meaning behind the colors. Brian made the appropriate noises at the appropriate times, letting Justin’s enthusiasm for his art wash over him. He was just happy that Justin was happy and healthy and thoroughly enjoying himself.

"How long can you stay?" Justin asked, suddenly getting serious. They had no set arrangements, visiting when opportunity permitted, waiting for the time when they no longer were separated by miles.

"Other than a business meeting tomorrow afternoon, I’m all yours for the next four days," Brian replied. It took a moment for Brian’s response to sink in then he found himself flat on his back with his arms full of Sunshine.

"Surprise!" Justin shouted before Justin loved the stuffing out of his man.
