Special K

Clark touched down on the balcony of the penthouse and let himself in.

Lex was sitting at his desk. “Quiet night?” he asked, not bothering to look up from his paperwork. He didn’t need to look at the clock to know Clark was home earlier than usual.

“No,” Clark replied before going to the bar and pouring himself a drink. The general slamming around, glass cracking and ice skittering across the floor got Lex’s attention though. He was beside Clark in a matter of seconds, taking the broken glass from his hand. He ignored the blood under Clark’s nails and in the creases of skin on his knuckles. He wondered how much more the black pants and sweater concealed. The only thing stopping him from throwing a glass himself was knowing the blood wasn’t Clark’s.

“Want to talk about it?”

Clark closed his eyes, taking a deep shuddering breath before shaking his head. “I--” He shook his head again. “I shouldn’t be interrupting your work. I’m just going to take a shower and go to bed.”

An hour later, Lex went to the bedroom and found Clark lying naked on the bed. He was on his side, one arm flung out in front of him, making a fist and staring down at the bulging veins that erupted. He traced them with a sharp nail from the other hand. His eyes flicked up at Lex and shame colored his cheeks as he rolled onto his back and wrapped his arms around himself.

Jesus.

“Clark.” Lex stayed in the doorway, not trusting himself to move. He wouldn’t make the decision for him, as much as he wanted it too. “All you have to do is ask.”

Clark went still for a moment, then nodded, turning his head and pleading with his eyes.

Lex felt the need radiating off him, but he shook his head, his own perverse need rearing up to be fed. “Say it,” he ordered darkly.

“I want it.” Clark licked his lips, rolling over and sitting up. Begging with his whole body. “Please, Lex. Give it to me.”

Lex nodded and took his time walking back to the study and pouring the brandy. He took two capsules from the bottle in his desk and opened them, stirring the green powder into the liquor. He didn’t count the other capsules, or try to hide the bottle. He knew Clark knew where they were, and he knew Clark would never take them without Lex’s permission. It was pointless to even think about.

He took out the small case next to the bottle and shut the drawer.

When he returned to the bedroom, Clark was sitting up, arms wrapped around his knees and rocking back and forth. Lex handed the glass to him, but Clark didn’t take it.

Lex sat down beside him. “Did you change your mind?”

Clark looked at him and Lex willfully denied his body any reaction to the sudden dark shadows ringing Clark’s eyes. “I shouldn’t.” Clark replied tiredly. “Someone might--”

“Do you hear anything now?” Lex asked, cruelly pointing out he knew Clark was blocking his hearing. If he wasn’t, he’d already be out trying to help another unfortunate soul.

Clark’s face contorted with guilt and Lex smoothed the harshest lines around his mouth with his thumb. “You need a break.” He didn’t say ‘You can’t save everyone’ anymore. Instead he added, “You can’t help anyone when you’re like this.” He held the glass up to Clark’s lips and stroked his hair as Clark quickly gulped it all down; his own hands coming up to greedily tip the glass back for every last drop.

“Good.” Lex set the glass aside and gently pushed Clark back on the bed. “Just relax now. There’s nothing else you can do.” Fear flickered briefly in Clark’s eyes, it always did just before the first convulsions of kryptonite poisoning began, and it made Lex instantly hard every time.

Clark giving up his powers, for a little while. Totally helpless and putting his life in Lex’s hands.

“I can’t wait to fuck you,” he told him before flipping open the syringe case.

Clark couldn’t answer, he was shaking and sweating and it took all of his strength to keep his eyes from rolling back into his head when he wanted to watch Lex fill the empty vials with his blood.

Lex chuckled. “Only I would fall in love with an alien with a kink for needles.”

When the vials were safely put away for the next batch of kryptonite experiments, Lex loaded a syringe with the red serum he saved for last and injected it into Clark’s arm. Just a little diluted red kryptonite, another of Lex’s experiments, to take the edge off the pain so Clark could really enjoy his drug-induced normalcy for a few hours until the kryptonite worked through his system.

Clark finally succumbed and let his eyes drift shut for a few blissful moments as the rush spread through his body and leveled off the pain so he felt almost…human.

Lex went to the closet and undressed, and then stopped in the bathroom for a towel before returning to the bed. He took the lube out of the nightstand and set it with the towel beside Clark. As he crawled over his lover again, Clark was smiling at him, pressing his thumb into the injection site on his other arm. He hissed at the pain and Lex smiled back, stroking Clark’s growing erection. “You like that.” It wasn’t a question.

Lex dipped his head and licked the bruised skin around the puncture marks and Clark groaned. Moving to the inside of his elbow, Lex sucked hard, raising more blood to the surface. He moved over half an inch and did it again, biting this time.

“Oh, god… Lex… please…” Clark squirmed underneath him, hips rising to rub his cock against Lex’s chest, but he was really more intent on using his other hand to push Lex’s head down, making him suck and bite harder, all over his bruised arm. More over the bruises already there.

But he didn’t need to be guided. Lex knew what Clark really wanted, what would make him come so hard he’d black out. Lex hurting and marking him. And Lex did it. Bit down hard enough to draw blood. Licking the teeth marks between soothing whispers, telling Clark every experiment he wanted to do on Clark’s alien body. He sucked hard again and Clark yelped, writhing against him and Lex felt Clark’s leaking cock smearing his skin. Lex told him gruesome details about incisions and extractions and body fluids and Clark whined and begged for it. Promised Lex he could do anything he wanted. He’d give up and let Lex take him over. Just to stop the fear. Of being discovered. Of failing. Clark was sobbing and Lex knew he was close, so close, and he pressed his fingers into the torn flesh, invulnerable skin he’d flayed open, and swore he’d do it all, anything Clark wanted.

He came screaming Lex’s name and Lex licked the creamy ribbons off Clark’s belly, desperate for the sweetly bitter taste to replace the iron, bile, and tears already on his tongue.

“I love you,” Clark murmured against Lex’s lips, his breath hitching as Lex pushed inside.

Lex squeezed his eyes shut when he felt the tell-tale burn of tears forming again. Clark kissed his eyelids, but Lex shook him off, pulling back to look at Clark pinned underneath him.

He would never, ever admit this was why he developed the kryptonite powder. Yes, he hoped gradually larger doses would help Clark develop a tolerance so the meteor rocks couldn’t be used against him by people like his father. And yes, he would give it to Clark with the red serum when he wanted to block out the world for a few hours. But this, Clark shuddering and straining, muscles clenched and burning, gasping from the sudden delicious pain of being split open and impaled on his cock, this was what he dreamed of from the first time he took Clark to bed and couldn’t hurt him. Couldn’t bruise or scratch or bite. Couldn’t send him home sore and aching and so hard for more every time he shifted in his seat and the sweet pain blossomed inside him again. He had no guarantee the boy would come back again, just his sweet promises and that wasn’t enough. Lex was obsessed, Clark was under his skin and he didn’t stop until he knew without a doubt Clark was completely, only, his.

Clark arched under him, muscles slowly relaxing as the edge of pain receded and his grip tightened, pulling Lex in deeper. Moaning as jolts of pleasure shot to his curled toes digging into Lex’s back. “Don’t ever stop, Lex… need you. So much…”

Lex lowered himself down again, kissing Clark as hard as he dared without drawing more blood.

Until he’d developed the powder, until he had a way to bind Clark to him, Lex had been afraid, but now the kryptonite took away his fear too.

Clark was just as addicted as he was.
