Bed Rest
"Just give me my pants," Tony snarled.
"No," Kate replied, taking a step back out of Tony's reach.
Tony lunged for her and would've ended up face first on the cold tile if McGee hadn't grabbed his arm.
"What the hell is going on here?" Gibbs bellowed as he entered the private hospital room DiNozzo had gotten after he left isolation. He glared at Kate and McGee. "Aren't you two supposed to be tracking down our witness?"
"We just--" McGee stammered, holding up a deli bag he'd obviously brought for Tony. "It's on the way--"
"Ducky said Tony was threatening to check himself out," Kate declared, setting the clothes she'd snatched from Tony on the chair next to Gibbs so Tony would have to go through him first.
"Good, we need him back." Gibbs picked up the clothes and threw them at Tony.
"The doctor said he still--"
"DiNozzo, are you fit to leave?" Gibbs asked, eyes boring into Kate.
"Yes, boss."
"He's lying," McGee protested. "Look at him."
Gibbs' eyes flicked to the other man. "I'm looking at you, McGee. Why are you still here?"
McGee set the bag on the bed next to Tony. "Going now, boss."
Kate followed him, tossing a scowl over her shoulder at the sick man as the door shut behind them.
Tony grinned at Gibbs and reached for his pants again. "I knew you missed me," he said as he stood on wobbly legs.
Gibbs put his hand on Tony's chest and Tony's eyes narrowed as Gibbs flicked his wrist and sent him sprawling back on the bed.
"Until you can stand on your own two feet--"
"That was hardly fair," Tony wheezed.
"--you will do exactly as you're told. Are we clear?"
Tony pushed him away and stood again, glaring defiantly. "I'm sick of being sick, alright? And you said it yourself, you need me. Kate and McGee can't find a decent pastrami sandwich," he pointed out, jabbing his finger at the obviously inferior deli logo on the sandwich sack, "so how do you expect them to find that witness?"
"I don't have time for this," Gibbs muttered. Before the other man could take another shaky breath, Gibbs had him pressed against the wall. His hand shot under Tony's gown and squeezed his dick.
"Jesus," Tony gasped. He collapsed against the other man's shoulder as his lungs spasmed and harsh barking coughs rang in Gibbs' ear.
Gibbs let go of his less than tender grip and moved his hand around to Tony's back, though still under the gown, and awkwardly stroked his spine until Tony's breathing calmed again.
"Shit," Tony mumbled after a few moments.
Gibbs carefully pushed him away. "Get back in bed."
Tony smiled weakly at him, grabbing for the erection Gibbs had been poking his hip with. "You're the boss."
Gibbs snorted, batting his hand away and he helped Tony swing his legs back up on the bed as another coughing fit hit him.
A nurse rapped on the door before barging in and grinning at them.
"I guess someone finally talked some sense into you since I see you're still here," she said.
"You haven't given me your number yet," Tony rasped as she handed him some water.
Gibbs shook his head and headed to the door. "Don't make me come back, DiNozzo."
"Save yourself the trouble and just stay," the nurse laughed, "you know he will."
Gibbs didn't stop or turn around. "I know."
"He knows," Tony echoed as exhaustion pulled him under once more.
