In Your Arms
Brian was alone.
Justin was working the night shift at the Diner. Brian was flipping channels on the TV when he stopped on Showtime. There was a new movie on that caught his attention. Arching a brow, he put the remote down and watched the last half of the movie with curiosity. It was far different from Velvet Goldmine and The Broken-Hearts Club but it was still interesting to say the least. Brian checked the guide and saw that it was on again in an hour after Soul Food so he decided to watch the whole thing then. When the movie was over, it was time to pick up Justin.
As he grabbed his keys off the dresser, he saw Justin's sketch pad on the bed. He sat down on the edge of the bed and picked up the pad. He flipped through it until he found the newest sketch. It was of Brian holding Justin after their meeting at Woody's after Justin got out of the hospital from the bashing at his prom. There was another new phrase under the sketch.
"The years you've seen in me. The one who'd be there for you. The way I need you here tonight."
Brian smile softly and set the pad back down gently.
"Love you too, Baby." Brian whispered to the silent loft.
Brian left and headed to the Diner. As he and Justin drove back to the loft, he was silent the whole way, thinking about the words he read. When they got back, Brian let Justin shower as he changed for bed. As Justin was fixing the couch for the night, Brian hugged him from behind.
"Come lay in my arms tonight." Brian purred in Justin's ear before letting the stunned teen go.
That night he slept with his little blonde lover in his arms.
