48 Hours Till

Brian and Justin sat silently in the loft, having listened to Bush's speech about going to war. Brian turned to Justin and saw the fear in his eyes. He reached over and pulled the teen close to him.

"Brian, why do we have to go through another war? Haven't we been through enough?" Justin asked softly.

"I don't know why, Baby. Some people do it becasue they have nothing better to do with their time." Brian sighed against Justin's hair.

The two men sat in silence for awhile until Justin broke the silence.

"Do you think we'll win, Brian? Do you think we'll finally bring peace?"

"I hope so, Baby. I really do." Brian said.

Brian thought about his son and wished for nothing more than a world of peace for his son to grow up in. A world with no war or hate. He also wanted Justin to live in the same world he thought of for his son. This war was going to be the downfall of the government. Why couldn't things be simpler.

That night while Justin slept, Brian sat in the chaise, staring out at the night sky as he smoked a joint. He had never feared more for his fucked up family than he did today. There was so much hate going around that he feared him and his friends would be the next target's of it. He looked at the clock. 12 hours till. . .

***This is dedicated to all our Men and Women who are in Iraq. May the God and Goddess bless them and watch over them. May they come home to us safely. May this war end soon.

Love to you all
