It's Just Habit

It didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out where Justin had been on the night of Brian’s surgery. Brian had seen Tony at Babylon two nights before his heart attack. His flimsy excuse for stopping in town to take care of business was bullshit. Massey had been a little too inquisitive about Justin. It was clear to Brian that the wealthy entrepreneur was in town for one thing only, to see his boy. What still wasn’t clear was why Justin had gone with him that night. Whatever the reason, Anthony Massey was in hot pursuit of Brian’s baby, and Brian wasn’t about to stand for it. The roses were the last straw.

“I have Anthony Massey on line one.” Cynthia announced.

Brian clicked off his computer, and picked up the phone. “Tony, it’s Brian.” he said.

“Brian, it’s good to hear your voice. I’m glad you’re feeling better. To what do I owe the pleasure of this call?” Massey greeted him.

“Let’s plow through the bullshit Tony. Is there a shortage of blonde boys in Chicago? Why the fuck do you insist on running after mine?” Brian pounced.

“Yours? The last I heard, you and Justin were in an open relationship. You know, one of those fuck anybody kind of deals.”

“It’s not open to you.”

“Why not? Surely you’re not intimidated by me, I’m just another trick. You know I could never take your Justin away from you.” Tony said sarcastically.

“No you could not.” Brian said with most certainty.

Tony gave a slight chuckle. “Don’t tell me you’re still upset about the little romp Justin, and I had. We didn’t know you were in the hospital, and I brought him to you as soon as I heard. I was just trying to cheer your boy up. He was awfully upset.”

“Who upset him?”

“It certainly wasn’t me. Justin seems to enjoy being with me, he keeps coming back. Why is that Brian?”

“Maybe because you’re a manipulative prick, who has no regard for boundaries?” Brian suggested.

“Are you looking in the mirror Kinney?”

“Stay the fuck away from Justin.” Brian growled. “The flowers, the surprise business trips, it ends now.”

“Sorry Brian, I can’t do that. Justin and I have grown rather fond of each other.”

“In your wet dreams old man.” Brian said smugly.

“Old? Ouch, that one hurt. May I remind you Brian, you’re the one with the weak heart.” Tony fired back. “Justin doesn’t seem to have a problem with the age difference. In fact, a hot little tomcat like that requires a more experienced lover. He mellowed right out the last time he was with me, purred like a kitten.”

Brian could feel his blood boiling. “I don’t know how you lured Justin into your bed, but whatever happened between the two of you will never happen again.” he hissed.

Anthony Massey had become bored with the bantering back, and forth. It was time to end this verbal war. The older man took aim, and opened up on Brian with both barrels. “I didn’t have to lure Justin, you sent him to me.” Tony began. “How many times do you think you can get away with waving tricks in front of Justin’s face? This open relationship bullshit that you’ve gotten him involved in isn’t what he wants, and you know it. How long will it be before you have him turning tricks with you, before you’re hauling him into backrooms, and bath houses? He’s too young to handle that, but you don’t give a shit. You’re not going to be satisfied until his opinion of himself is as low as yours, and he’s content to be a backroom whore like you. You don’t want me to come after Justin, because you know I can take him. Don’t call my office anymore with your trifling demands. The next time Justin comes to me, and mark my words, he will be coming back. I’m going to keep him, and there won’t be a damn thing you can do about it. Now if you’ll excuse me Mr. Kinney, I have important people to talk to. Give our beautiful boy a kiss for me.”

Justin sat on the edge of his bed starring at the telephone on the nightstand. Brian’s plane had landed in Miami by now. The teen had left two messages on his cell phone. When Brian didn’t call back, Justin did as he had been conditioned to do. He assumed that Brian was out fucking. Lost in thought, Justin didn’t hear his mother’s approach.

“Sweetheart, are you staying here tonight?” Jennifer asked from the bedroom doorway.

Justin looked up at his mother. “Yeah.” he said somberly.

“Is everything alright, where’s Brian?” she asked cautiously.

“He’s out of town for the weekend.”

Molly peeked her head inside of the door. “Why didn‘t he take you?”

“Molly, daddy’s on his way to pick you up. Go look out of the window for him.” Jennifer suggested.

Molly ignored her mother. “Why didn’t he take you Justin?” she asked again.  “Did he take another guy?”

“That’s none of your business, and stay out of adult conversation.” Jennifer warned.

“Justin’s not an adult, he’s my brother. Why don’t you call Tony?” Molly suggested.

“Who’s Tony?” Jennifer asked.

“Justin’s other boyfriend. He’s rich, and he’s even older than Brian.”

Jennifer looked at her son. “How much older?”

“At least as old as dad.” Molly said.

“FIFTY?”

“Don’t believe her mom, Tony’s not fifty.” Justin said. “He’s forty two.”

“FORTY TWO?”

“Told you.” Molly said.

“Justin, why can’t you find a nice young man your own age?” Jennifer whined.

“He’s just a friend mom.”

Molly rushed over to Justin’s chest, and opened the top drawer. She found the blue box, that contained the gold bracelet Massey had given him. Justin had wisely hidden it at Jennifer’s, as not to anger Brian. Molly handed it to her mother.

Jennifer’s eyes widened as she opened the box. “It’s beautiful.” she said.  “Tony, that’s the man with the jet, Anthony Massey.” Jennifer recalled Justin’s impromptu trip to Chicago that had everyone, including Brian worried about him.

“Yeah that’s him. He gave me the bracelet last year as a graduation present.” Justin said. “I’m going to kill you if you don’t stay out of my stuff.” he sneered at Molly.

“It‘s beautiful.” Jennifer said again. “Why don’t you ever wear it?”

Justin shrugged his shoulders.

The doorbell rang. “It’s dad! Bye mom, bye Justin!.” Molly called back as she hurried down the stairs.

“Don’t worry, your father won’t come in.” Jennifer assured her son, as she took a seat next to him on the bed. “What’s wrong Justin, did you and Brian have an argument?” she asked.

“No, not really. He’s just being Brian.”

“What does that mean?”

“I really don’t want to talk about it mom.”

“Justin, Brian’s too experienced, and set in his ways for you. He’s never going to change sweetheart.”

“I love him mom.”

“I know you do, and I believe that he cares for you too in his own way.....”

Jennifer was interrupted by Craig Taylor, who had quietly climbed the stairs to his son’s room. “Hello Jen. Hello Justin, Molly said you were here. It’s been a long time, It’s good to see you son.”

“It’s good to see you too dad.” The teen stood and gave his father an uncomfortable hug.

“I was glad to hear you’re back home with your mother now.” Craig said. “You’re not sick are you?” he asked.

“No dad, I’m not sick.”

“Good. You know that’s a dangerous life that you’ve chosen, I hope you’re remembering to protect yourself.”

“I’m always careful.” Justin said.

“Good.” Craig looked at Jennifer. “I’ll have Molly back on Sunday.” He turned back to Justin. “You take care of yourself son.”

“Goodbye dad.”

Jennifer and Justin listened as the front door closed behind Craig and Molly. She watched as Justin lowered his head, and stared at the blue box in his hands. “Your father’s having a hard time right now. The divorce, leaving our house, loosing our family, it’s been very difficult for both of us.” she said in a feeble attempt to explain her husband’s estrangement.

Justin didn’t look up, he continued to stare at the blue box in his hand.

“Your father loves you Justin.” Jennifer tried to assure him. “He’s just having a hard time showing it right now.”

Justin looked at his mother. “He doesn’t seem to have a hard time showing Molly.” he pointed out.

Jennifer had no reply for that one. Gratefully, Justin changed the subject.  “Don’t you have a dinner date tonight?” he asked.

“I’m going to cancel.” Jennifer said. “We can rent some movies, and make some popcorn with extra butter. We’ll have a mother/son “Blockbuster” night.”

“No. You go on your date, and have fun. To tell you the truth, I’d really like some time to myself mom.” Justin said.

Jennifer took a deep breath. “Justin.” she began. “Sometimes things happen to people as they’re growing up that makes them incapable of truly loving anyone, even themselves. Maybe Brian is one of those people. Maybe he can’t love you the way you want to be loved, the way you deserve to be loved. You remind me of that bracelet of yours, beautiful, precious, and hidden away, just waiting for someone to cherish you. Don’t wait too long sweetheart.  Unlike gold, the heart does tarnish with time.”

Jennifer left with her date, leaving her son alone with her words still weighing heavily on his mind. His mother’s thoughts almost paralleled what Tony had challenged him to answer the last time they talked. When was he going to learn that he deserved better than a backroom whore like Brian Kinney?

Justin had agreed to Brian’s open relationship, even though it really wasn’t what he wanted. Brian had taught him that monogamy was a dead institution for breeders, that gay men were different, and free to make up their own rules for relationships. Justin had almost bought it, going as far as following Brian to the baths, and backrooms, and actively participating in the games. It was Jennifer who reminded him that he deserved something better. It was Anthony Massey who reminded him that there was something better. Justin wiped the tears away that had quietly stained his cheeks. He took the gold bracelet out of the blue box, fastened it to his wrist, and dialed Tony’s number.

It was early Friday evening at the Massey estate. Tony was busy with a hot brunette from Chicago’s gold coast when his housekeeper, Mary tapped lightly on his bedroom door. “Mr. Massey.” she called as discretely as possible.

Tony tumbled out of bed, and found his robe. “This better be good Mary.” he said, as he slightly opened the door.

“Justin Taylor’s on the phone for you sir.” she whispered.

Tony excused himself from his trick, and took the call in his study. “Two times in one week, you’re spoiling me princess. To what do I owe the pleasure of this call?”

“Hi, I’m not interrupting anything am I?” Justin tried to sound cheerful.

“Nothing important, what can I do for you princess?”

“Is that weekend invitation still open?”

There was a moment of silence in Chicago. Finally Tony answered. “What time would you like to be here?”

“Now.” Justin said.

Anthony Massey hung up the phone He paged his pilot to prepare the jet for an emergency round trip to Pittsburgh, and send a car to pick up Justin Taylor. Mary alerted his Chicago driver that Mr. Massey would require his services tonight. On Tony’s order she prepared the white room for Justin’s stay, placed a bottle of champagne on ice, and checked the fridge for light snacks. Tony hurriedly took care of the trick in his room, and changed the bed dressings. The pilot telephoned Mr. Massey’s driver from the air to give his estimated arrival time, and synchronize Justin’s pickup from Midway airport in Chicago. Tony hit the shower, as the limo was pulling out. By the time it returned the king, and his castle were ready to receive its princess.

Justin finished his shower, and sank into the downy of Anthony Massey’s feather bed. “Ahhhh.” he sighed, as the softness surrounded his body.

“Comfortable?” Tony asked.

“Very.” Justin uttered from underneath the silky covers.

Tony sat on the edge of the bed. Justin reached for him, and the older man moved closer. “Ummmm, you smell so good. What’s the name of that cologne?” Justin purred.

“I’m glad you like it.” Tony said. “It doesn’t have a name, I have it blended special for me in Paris. I’ll have my perfumers send you a bottle.” He placed his arm around Justin, and cradled him.

Justin snuggled closer. “Thanks for letting me come Tony.”

“Anytime princess, you’re always welcomed at my place. What happened to “The White Party”?”

“I changed my mind, I didn’t really want to go.”

“What about Brian?”

“I don’t want to talk about Brian.” Justin lifted his head, and kissed Tony’s throat.

The teen was up to something. Tony decided to play along. “What did you have in mind princess?” the older man asked.

“I want you to fuck me.” Justin whispered. “I love the way you fuck me.”

Tony reached underneath the covers to find Justin’s eighteen year old dick already rock hard. He wrapped his fingers around the stiff piece, and glided his hand along the smooth shaft. Justin immediately began to pump his hips to meet his lover’s strokes. Tony smiled. “Slow down princess, we have all night” he whispered.

The older man leaned over, and with his lips barely touching, slowly kissed his way down the teen’s body. Tony slid Justin’s cock into his mouth, swallowing it to its base, then moved slowly up, and down the shaft, turning his head from side to side. Justin’s body trembled as his lover found his spot, and swiped his tongue just underneath the swollen head. “Ummmmm.” Justin moaned.

“Do you like that?” Tony whispered. Justin couldn’t answer, Tony continued.  He dipped his tongue deep inside Justin’s bubbling slit, then kissed his way back up the teens body, to Justin’s awaiting mouth. The older man slipped his tongue inside, and delivered a sample of the teen’s pre-cum onto Justin’s tongue. “Sweet.” Tony whispered.

Justin was practically climbing the bedposts, Tony was moving way too slow.  “Are you going to fuck me?” he panted.

“I might, if you ask me nice.” Tony teased.

“Please.”

Tony smiled. “I want you on all fours princess.” he said.

Brian stepped onto his terrace, and watched as the sun went down in Miami.  The afternoon had been a productive one. He had met a gorgeous redhead, and his blonde lover on the plane. They decided to begin their weekend with a hot threesome. The three men had spent the afternoon fucking. It was now time to dress for the evening festivities. Brian finally checked his messages. There were two from Justin, which he promptly erased. He was still pissed about the verbal lashing Anthony Massey had given him, a lashing Brian blamed Justin for.

Brian had allowed himself to say yes to a relationship with the teen, even gone as far as following a stupid set of rules they had agreed on, but Justin wasn’t satisfied. He wanted Brian all to himself. No fucking way.  Brian could have avoided all of this drama if he had only listened to Michael, and dropped Justin’s tight little ass after he fucked him that first night. Brian looked over at his bed. A mental picture of Justin, down on all fours began to visualize in his head. God how he loved Justin on all fours. Brian had lost himself in his baby’s smooth, round ass more times than he could remember, with each time just as exciting as the first. His mind drifted farther, to the night when he and Justin became so lost in each other that they accidentally did it raw. Brian closed his eyes. He could still feel the heat of his baby’s body wrapped around his throbbing cock, as the sleeping giant began to travel the inseam of his pant. “He’s making me crazy, I’ve got to get the fuck out of here.” Brian said out loud.

He headed to the shower. The tentative plan was to change into his whites, spend a couple of hours at the bar making a mental list, then fuck the night away. Brian stepped under the warm spray, and proceeded to lather himself with the herbal scented soap Justin loved so much. He began with his chest, then his arms and shoulders. Justin likes to wash his back. When he’s in a playful mood, he likes to trace the bar of soap down the length of Brian’s spine, then surprise him by slipping a finger into his ass. Brian smiled unconsciously as he recalled his baby’s giggle. He couldn’t remember the last weekend they’d spent apart. Justin had even been with him when he was in the hospital. They needed a break. They had been spending entirely too much time together. “It’s like we’re fucking married.” Brian said out loud.

Brian finished his shower, put on his white linens, and headed down to the cocktail lounge. He sauntered over to the bar, ordered a drink, and began to make his evening selections among the tanned bodies. The decor of the lounge were shades of blue. Oh how Brian loved his baby in blue. Whether it was the pale, icy blue of Justin’s robe, the rich navy blue of designer sheets, or the electric, cobalt blue of neon, every shade did Justin’s porcelain skin justice. Brian recalled how handsome his baby looked when he unexpectedly showed up at his office. Even Cynthia couldn’t take her eyes off of the beautiful blonde, tailored in navy silk. That night they dined at Nordic Hills, the Taylor family’s country club. That night Brian lost himself in the bluest eyes he’d ever seen. “I love you in blue baby.” he’d told Justin.  “I love wearing blue for you.” Justin had replied. Brian shoved his memories into the back of his mind, and continued making his selections.

Tony poured two glasses of champagne. He circled the bed to Justin’s side, and handed him his drink. “Now, tell me why you’re really here.” Tony said.  “It’s that fucking whore isn’t it, what’s he done this time?”

“Nothing more than usual, and I wish you wouldn’t call him that.” Justin said.

“Sorry, I can only call them as I see them.” Tony said sarcastically.

“He happens to have a high libido, that’s all.”

Tony took a sip of his drink. “Bullshit, I’ve seen tomcats with lower libidos.”

“You once called me a tomcat.” Justin reminded him.

Tony leaned over, and kissed him. “That was before I tamed you.” he purred.

“Tony.”

“Hum?” The older man finished his champagne, and went to refill his glass.

“Could I ask you for a favor?”

“Anything princess.” He began to pour.

“Would you be my lover?”

Tony stopped filling his glass, and looked at Justin. “Excuse me?”

“Not all of the time, just sometimes.” Justin said.

Tony finished filling his glass. He took a seat at the bar, and looked over at Justin, who was sitting perched in the middle of the bed. “You’re going to have to clarify this one a little more for me princess.” he said.

“Brian and I have an open relationship. He likes to fuck a lot of guys, and I don’t, but I like being with you.” Justin said.

“Do you like fucking me, or being with me? There’s a difference Justin.” Tony pointed out.

“Both.” Justin admitted.

“Why don’t you just leave Brian? He doesn’t appreciate you princess. I would spoil you rotten.”

“I can’t do that, I love Brian.”

“That tramp.”

“Tony.”

“I didn’t say whore.” Tony said mockingly. “Let me see if I’ve got this right. You love Brian, you plan on staying with Brian, yet you want to keep me on the side?”

“Yeah.” Justin said innocently.

Tony burst into laughter.

“What’s so funny?” Justin frowned.

“I’m sorry princess, I don’t mean to laugh.” Tony said between breaths. “I have to admit, I do like your style. Does Mr. “open relationship” know about this little proposition of yours?”

“No, and I don’t want him to know.” Justin said.

“Why not.”

“Because he hates you, that’s why.”

“And you?”

“I like you.” Justin smiled.

Tony strolled over to the bed. He sat down next to Justin, leaned over, and kissed him “I could never refuse that smile.” Tony whispered. “You can have me any way you want me princess. I’ll be your little secret, if that’s what pleases you.”

By Saturday morning Brian was beginning to revaluate his situation with Justin. Maybe he had been too hard on him. After all, Justin was an eighteen year old in love. It was only natural that he would be possessive of Brian, not to mention that Brian was missing his baby terribly. He was in the habit of waking up on Saturday, and Sunday mornings with Justin clinging to his side. Brian looked over at the dismal substitute laying next to him. “Wake up buddy, It’s time for you to go.” he said to the nameless trick. After seeing his guest out, Brian quickly showered, and called room service for breakfast. As he waited, he found his cell phone, and stretched out on the bed to check his messages. This time there was nothing from Justin. Brian dialed his baby’s number, and listened as it rang an unusually long time.  Much to his surprise, Jennifer answered. “Good morning Jennifer, may I speak to Justin please?”

“He’s not here, and I don’t expect him back until late on Sunday.” she said dryly.

Brian paused, momentarily dumbfounded. He wanted to ask Jennifer where the hell his baby was, and who the fuck was he with that would have him away until Sunday. “Did he leave a number where he could be reached?” Brian asked calmly.

“No he didn’t.”

“Thanks.” Brian clicked off the phone. His first thought was to call Daphne’s, Justin was probably there. Then a second thought occurred to him, maybe Justin was at home sulking, and Jennifer was covering for him. “If he wants to act like a spoiled brat, that’s fine with me. I’m not going to chase him down.” Brian said out loud. He put away his phone, and waited for breakfast.

It had been a rough night for Anthony Massey. Once again Brian’s little tomcat had proven to be a ravenous lover, but this time Massey found out why Brian Kinney was so truly taken by the boy. No matter how many times he moved, Justin managed to find Massey’s side of the bed. He wrapped himself around the older man’s back, his side, and curled up in his arms. Justin stroked Massey’s chest, his belly, his cock, and kissed him softly on his neck, his throat, his chest. It was as if the boy was making love to him all night long as he slept. Tony looked on as Justin laid sleeping in his arms.  He leaned over, and kissed his princess ever so lightly on the mouth.

Justin smiled. “Ummm Brian.” he sighed softly.

“No princess, It’s Tony.” the unfamiliar voice uttered.

Justin opened his eyes. “I’m sorry.”

“That’s alright.” Tony whispered. “It’s just habit. You’ll get use to me.”
