Justin's Mark

Part 3

Brian didn’t remember the panic at the office, and the ride to the hospital was a blur. He vaguely recalled hearing voices asking questions about him, and he could make out Ryder, and Cynthia in the background. By the time the ambulance arrived at the emergency room, Brian was aware of his surroundings. He even opened his eyes periodically, but the pain in his chest stifled his speech. It felt as if a vice was clamping down on his heart, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to breath, even with the oxygen mask on. Brian fought to maintain consciousness.

“Mr. Kinney, do you know where you are?” the ER resident asked.

“Hospital.” Brian managed to whisper.

“That’s right. We think you may have had a heart attack. We’re going to run some tests to find out for sure, and then decide what to do next.” Brian could feel something being placed on his chest, and someone was attempting to draw blood from his arm. “Don’t worry.” the doctor continued. “We’ve got everything under control, and your secretary’s attempting to reach your family. We’re running an EKG now. I’m going to give you some morphine for the pain. That should help with your breathing too.”

Brian nodded his head in agreement, and closed his eyes.

“Did Sunshine say he was coming over later? I made all of these stuffed shells for him.” Debbie said.

“Why him?” Michael snapped.

“Not just for him. I meant to say that I made extra for him. Come on honey. Sunshine doesn’t even live here anymore, and you’re still jealous.” she said.

“I’m not jealous. It’s just that he’s only been gone for three days. He should be spending time with his own mother.”

Debbie looked at her son with suspicion. “Michael, you didn’t say anything to Justin did you?” Michael didn’t answer. “Did you?” Debbie repeated.

“I told him to go home.” Michael confessed.

“Michael.” Debbie sighed with disappointment.

“He’s got no reason to keep hanging around here now. He’s got his fancy townhouse, he’s got his family back, and he’s got Brian.”

“Bingo!” Debbie said. “I should have known this was about Brian. Honey, you’re going to have to accept the fact that those two are in love.”

“Justin’s the one who’s in love, Brian’s still up to his same old crap. He’s still hanging out in the backroom of “Babylon”. I saw him there this past Saturday night.”

“You know Brian. A trick in a backroom doesn’t mean anything to him.”

“I know he doesn’t love Justin.” Michael said.

“Is that what you know, or is that what you’re hoping?” Debbie asked. “Michael, I know how you feel about Brian, but you’ve got to understand that he doesn’t feel the same way about you. He loves you, but it’s not the same as the love he feels for Justin.”

Michael turned away from his mother. “Justin’s just a kid.”

“He’s young, but he’s no kid. He was old enough to find who he wanted, and go after him.”

“What are you saying, that I never had the guts to go after Brian?”

“I’m saying that you’ve known him most of your life. If you felt that way about him, you should have told him. Don’t be angry with Justin because he wasn’t afraid to lay his heart on the line.”

“He doesn’t even know Brian.” Michael argued. “Brian doesn’t do relationships, he doesn’t even believe in love. Justin’s the one who’s pushing him for a commitment.”

Debbie cupped her son’s face. “Michael, listen to me honey. Nobody pushes Brian, you know that. Sunshine’s good for him, and Brian is in love with him. As his friend, you’re going to have to accept that.” Debbie said gently. “Be happy for him, and go find a love of your own.”

Michael’s cell phone began to ring. It was Cynthia.

Ryder had instructed Cynthia to get in touch with Brian’s family, and much to Brian’s dismay, she did. Joan, and Claire Kinney was at his bedside when Michael arrived. Claire immediately fell into his arms. “Oh Michael. I’m so glad you’re here.” she sobbed.

Mrs. Kinney stood at the foot of Brian’s bed with her arms folded across her chest. “I knew this was going to happen. He’s just like his father, drinking, smoking, chasing women. I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner.” she fussed.

“How is he?” Michael asked, peeking over Claire’s shoulder.

“The doctor says he has a blockage in one of his arteries. They’re getting the operating room ready, and we’re waiting for the cardiologist to come. They’re going to do an angioplasty to open the blockage”

“Oh god, first father, now this. I can’t take another loss.” Claire wailed.

“Oh be quiet Claire. He brought this on himself.” Mrs. Kinney snapped.

Brian laid with his eyes closed, curled up into a fetal position. His breathing was back to normal, but the pain in his chest was beginning to return. Michael peeled Claire’s arms from around his neck, and went to his friend. “Brian, are you ok?” he asked.

Brian opened his eyes at the sound of Michael’s voice. “No.” he whispered.

“What did he say? Do I need to ring for the nurse?” Claire asked between whimpers.

“Michael’s here, we can take a break. We’re going down for coffee Michael. I can see this is going to be a long night. Come on Claire.” Joan Kinney ordered.

“What if something happens to him while we’re gone.” Claire whined.

“I’ll be here Claire. I’ll let you know if anything happens.” Michael assured her.

The women exited the room, as Michael pulled a seat close to Brian’s bedside. “Do you need the nurse Brian?” he asked

“Where’s Justin?” Brian whispered.

“I haven’t seen him.” Michael lied.

“I’ve got to see him Michael.”

“You’re in pain Brian. Let me ring for the nurse.”

“No. I’ve got to stay awake. I’ve got to see Justin. I never told him that I loved him Michael. If I die, I’ll always leave him wondering. I can’t do that to him.”

Michael’s heart sank as he heard the desperation in his friend’s voice. “Justin knows that you love him.” he said.

“It’s not the same as hearing it. You know I love you, because I’ve told you. I need to tell Justin. You have to find him for me Michael.”

“I’ll try.” Michael said.

“Michael.”

“Yeah?”

“I know Lindsey and Mel will look after Gus for me, but I’m worried about Justin. If anything happens to me, promise me that you’ll take care of him for me.”

“Jesus Brian!”

“He’s so young Michael. I don’t want anyone to hurt him. He trusts you. He’ll listen to you. Please.”

“I promise.” Michael said, almost choking on his words.

Justin opted to stay in Pittsburgh. The last thing he needed was to get stranded in a strange city again. He decided instead to go back to Massey’s suite, where they ordered up hot wings, and cold shrimp, to go with Tony’s well stocked wet bar. Tony leaned back on the sofa and listened as Justin revaluated his situation with Brian, one drink at a time.

“It’s my own fault you know. Everybody knows you don’t fall in love with a trick. Am I right?”  A very tipsy Justin slurred as he paced the floor. Tony nodded his head in agreement, and took a sip of his drink. “He knew I didn’t have any business on Liberty Avenue, in the middle of the goddamn night, in the middle of the goddamn week. Fucking asshole, he should have just left me the fuck alone!”

“You’re getting loud princess.” Tony said calmly.

“What the hell was I suppose to do? You’ve seen Brian. He’s so goddamn beautiful. Who wouldn’t go with him? I’m just a kid right?”

“Right princess.” Tony placed his index finger to his lips. “Shhhhh.”

“Don’t Shhhhh me. That’s my problem, I’ve been Shhhhh for too damn long. That’s why he thinks he can fuck Pittsburgh, and keep me all to himself. Well I can fuck whoever I want!” Justin declared, tapping himself on the chest.

“You certainly can.” Tony said trying not to laugh.

“You’re right, he’s nothing but a goddamn, “backroom” whore. I hate him!”

“Your phone’s ringing again princess.”

“It’s just Brian. He probably just finished fucking his trick, now he wants to fuck me. Not this time!” Justin yelled at his cell phone.

“You’re drunk princess.”

“I know.” Justin said. He slumped down onto the sofa, and buried his face in his hands. Anger gave way to tears, and the teen began to cry all over again. “Why would he do that? I thought he loved me.”

Anthony Massey gathered the brokenhearted boy into his arms, and a drained Justin rested his head on the older man’s chest. “Did Brian ever tell you that he loved you?” Tony asked.

“He said I was his joy.” Justin whimpered between tears. “He said I was his baby. When I came home from the hospital, he asked my mom if he could keep me. He fought my father for me, and  danced with me in a room full of fucking eighteen year olds, he even let me make love to him.”

Tony rephrased the question. “Did he ever say I love you Justin?”

“No, he never did.” Justin said wearily.

Tony slowly stroked his fingers through Justin‘s hair. “You should never assume anything princess. That’s how you get hurt.” he said gently. “You can’t make him love you just by wishful thinking. It has to be something that he’s ready for too. Some people aren’t capable of loving anyone, including themselves, and even someone as wonderful as you can’t change them. If it’s love you’re looking for princess, you may have to give him up.”

Justin buried his face in Tony’s chest, and wept yet again.

Michael was riddled with guilt. His best friend was calling for the man he loved, a man that he had literally sent away. Where the hell was Justin? He wasn’t at Debbie’s, or Lindsey’s. They had already arrived at the hospital. Mel stayed home with Gus. She promised to call if Justin showed up. Emmett, and Ted had searched Babylon, while Michael checked out Woody’s. Numerous calls to Justin’s cell phone went unanswered, Daphne hadn’t seen him, and now Jennifer was worried too. Michael had no choice but to return to his friend with the bad news.  Lindsey was at his bedside.

“We can’t find him Brian.” Michael said.

“Did you check the loft? Try his cell phone again.” Lindsey suggested.

“We’ve looked everywhere. We can’t find him, and he’s not answering his phone. Emmett, and Ted are hanging around “Babylon” in case he shows up.”

The nurse came in with Brian’s sedative. “The doctor’s here. He’s getting scrubbed up now.” she said.

She reached for the port on Brian’s IV, only to have him pull her hand away. “I don’t want that.” he said.

“It won’t knock you out.” the nurse said. “Your angio will be done under local anesthesia. This is just something to help you relax.”

“I don’t want anything to relax me.” Brian said.

Joan Kinney came into the room, with Claire crying close behind her. “They’re ready for you Brian.” she said.

“I’m not ready.”

“What do you mean, you’re not ready?” she argued.

“I mean all of you get the fuck out!” Brian yelled. The pain had returned to his chest.

“Brian.” Claire whimpered.

“Out!” he yelled even louder, this time sending Claire scampering toward the door.

Joan Kinney stood in defiance at the foot of her son’s bed. “Stop this nonsense Brian. Let’s get this over with, so we can go home.”

“Go the fuck home, I didn’t call you!” Brian roared.

Lindsey touched his arm, attempting to quiet him. “Brian.” she uttered.

As the nurse took cover in a corner near the door. Michael looked on in silence.

“Fine.” Mrs. Kinney said. “If you’re going to lay here, and make a fool of yourself, then I will leave.”

“Good, and take that wailing bitch with you!” Brian yelled. Brian closed his eyes, and rolled over onto his side, clinching the front of his gown. The pain was getting worse.

“What the fuck is going on in here?” Debbie asked, peeking her head inside the door. “The whole hospital can hear you.” Joan, and Claire breezed past Debbie without saying a word.

“It’s time for him to go now. I need to give him this.” The nurse held up the IV push medication she had brought in with her.

“I’m not ready.” Brian said.

“Everybody out, I need to talk to Brian alone.” Debbie said. She waited until everyone was gone before she began. “It’s time for you to go, and take care of yourself kiddo.” Debbie said gently. “The doctor says the procedure only takes a couple of hours.”

“That’s if everything goes well. If they can’t open the blockage with the angio, they’re going to have to go in. That’s why I have to see Justin.” Brian said. “What if something happens to me Deb? I never told him that I love him. I need to tell him that.” Brian’s eyes were rapidly welling with tears.

Debbie hugged him. “You tell him when you wake up.” she said.

“What if I don’t wake up?”

“You will, and when you do, we’ll have Justin here waiting for you.” Debbie promised.

Brian allowed the nurse to give him his sedative. Debbie watched as Lindsey, and Michael kissed him before he was carted away. She waited until Brian was well out of hearing range before turning to Michael. “You’ve got about four hours to find Sunshine, and bring him here to Brian. Do you understand me Michael?” Debbie growled.

“I don’t know where is. How am I suppose to find him?” Michael whined.

“You figure that out!” she snapped.

Brian went through the procedure uneventfully. The cardiac stent was in place, the balloon was  inflated, and the artery was open. He would be in recovery for a couple of hours before moving to his room. “It’s very important that he remains on his back for the next 12 hours.” the doctor told Debbie, and Lindsey. “The femoral catheter that we inserted has to remain in place for that length of time, just in case there’s an emergency.”

“What kind of an emergency?” Lindsey asked.

“In case something fails, and we have to go back in.” the doctor said. “Don’t worry. We’ll keep him calm, and everything should be fine. We’ll do some more blood tests, another EKG, and get his blood pressure under control. If all goes well, he should be home in a few days.”

“Thank you doctor.” Debbie said.

The doctor was beginning to walk away when he remembered something. “Mrs. Novotny, who’s Justin? That’s all he talked about while under the sedation, finding Justin.”

“Justin is Brian’s boyfriend.” Debbie said.

The doctor smiled. “When you see him, tell him Brian loves him.”

Anthony Massey looked at his watch. It was almost ten o’clock, and Brian’s little tomcat laid asleep, purring like a kitten in his arms. This was not the wild night of sexing Massey had anticipated, not like their night in Chicago where Justin had earned his handle, ”tomcat.”

Tony had made the first move, expecting the babyfaced angel to take on a submissive role. Instead, Justin had surprised him by taking control. He boldly laid down the rules. No bondage, safe sex was a must, and no one tops him except Brian. Tony could tell that Justin had been frightened by his unexpected advances, but the teen held himself together, and came across with poise, and confidence. Intrigued by the boy’s tenacity, the older man decided to humor him by playing along. He had no idea that Justin was about to rocked his world.

Brian’s baby was truly gifted. His pulsating cock filled the older man’s mouth, mushrooming into a granite-like hard on that kept reappearing throughout the night. The boy’s tongue was magical, circling, darting, lapping, probing. It mapped its way around Tony’s body, seeking out his most intimate spots, and teasing him into a frenzy. Tony was certain that the boy was born with a dick in his mouth. Justin swallowed his cock with amazing control, taking him deep, without gagging even once. Over, and over the teen brought him to the brink of orgasm, only to slow down the pace, prolonging the glorious torture. Tony begged for release as Justin rimmed him like a pro, mounted him like a stallion, and fucked him till the boy’s name was hanging on his lips. The ravenous teen kept him going all night. Tony never came so hard, so many times, so many ways.

Much to Brian’s amusement, Massey had returned Justin. The older man feared there was no way he could keep pace with Brian’s little tomcat, but it was too late, Justin had already left his mark on him. Throughout his travels, country to country, city to city, the night with Justin remained embedded in his mind. The boy had unknowingly become Massey’s measuring stick for every trick, and prospective partner the man met. Tony had no choice but to return to Pittsburgh, return to Justin, if only for one more night.

The stroll down memory lane had brought Tony’s cock to attention. It ran down his leg, straining inside of his pants. Justin felt the movement, and instinctively began to rock his hips against the swollen member. Tony lifted the boy’s face and kissed him. Justin opened his mouth and snaked his tongue. Tony accepted the sleepy invitation, and encircled his tongue around Justin’s. The boy opened his eyes. “Hi.” he smiled.

“Hi princess. Feeling better?”

“I think so.”

“Good.” Tony kissed him again, and Justin kissed back.

“Thank you Tony.”

“For what, the drinks?”

“No.” Justin chuckled. “Thank you for being here for me.”

“My pleasure princess, you can sleep on my chest anytime.”

Justin could feel Tony’s dick still hard, pressing against his own erection. He looked into the older man’s eyes. “Tony, I’ve never been with anyone except Brian.” That’s not what he wanted to say. Justin rephrased his sentence. “I mean...., no one has ever topped me except Brian.”

“I know.” Tony said calmly. He continued to look into the boy’s eyes. It would have to be Justin’s call.

“Tony.” Justin was having trouble getting his words out. He never had to ask Brian. Brian loved to be in control. Anthony Massey’s coolness was unnerving. The teen felt awkward, and intimidated, but he wanted this man. He wanted him as much as he had wanted Brian, that night on Liberty Avenue.

“You can have me, but you’ll have to ask me princess.” Tony was reading Justin’s mind.

Justin took a deep breath “Tony, would you make love to me. Please.”

“My pleasure.” Tony smiled.

Justin’s heart was racing, his chest sinking and rising rapidly. Tony remained eerily in control as he rolled the boy over onto his back, and began to undress him. He first removed Justin’s shoes and socks, then reached up, and unfastened the teen’s fly. Justin lifted his hips, allowing the man to slide his pants and shorts down, just past his knees. The older man smiled when the teen’s dick catapulted upward. Tony caught it, and began a leisurely stroke, while at the same time lowering his head to lavish Justin’s balls with wet kisses. Justin closed his eyes, and moaned as pre-cum oozed from the tip of his dick. It smeared  onto Tony’s hand, lubricating the teen’s cock until it shined like new marble. “Ooooooh god.” Justin sighed. He lifted his tee, and began to fondle his nipples. If only he could wrap his legs around Tony’s head, but the damn pants restricted his movement.

Tony covered the head of Justin’s dick with his mouth. He swirled his tongue around the swollen gland, then dipped the tip deep inside Justin’s slit. The teen arched his back. “Ahhhhh, Tony please.” he panted. The older man smiled, and continued. Tony glided Justin’s throbbing meat in and out of his mouth until he felt the teen shiver beneath him. “Oh god, I’m gonna cum.” Justin groaned.

Tony immediately released him. “Turn over princess.” he instructed.

Justin eagerly flipped over onto his knees, and hoisted his ass into the air. “Come on, put it in.” The teen pleaded, but Tony was in no hurry.

The older man smiled, and took his time unbuttoning his shirt. “Take it easy princess.” he said.

Justin looked around to see what was taking so long. “You’ve still got your clothes on? Fuck!” He began to stroke himself.

Tony didn’t move any faster, he casually removed his pants, then positioned himself behind Justin’s ass. Like Brian, Tony ripped open the condom packet with his teeth, and rolled it onto his dick with one long, smooth stroke. “Are you ready for me princess?” Tony purred as he worked his fingers in, and out of Justin’s hole, distributing a generous amount of lube into the teen’s tight opening.

“Yes, yes!.” Justin insisted, and continued to pound his meat.

“Here we go.” Tony forewarned. He gently pushed the head of his cock into the boy’s rosebud opening. Justin braced himself on the arm of the sofa as he took his lover inch, by glorious inch.

“Now relax princess?” Tony instructed, and waited for his signal. Justin nodded his head, and pushed back, and Tony began to move. He fucked Brian’s baby slowly at first, allowing the boy’s muscles to relax even farther. Justin rested his forehead on his hands, and rolled his hips to the rhythm of his lover’s thrusts. “Ahhhhh, that’s it.” Tony approved.

Tony smacked Justin’s ass, and stepped up the pace. “Come on princess.” He grunted.

“Ooooh yeah, fuck me!” Justin hissed, and Tony lost control.

The older man threw his head back, and closed his eyes, as his thrusts escalated to a feverish pace. “Oh I’m cumming!” Tony cried out.

“Oooooh yeah!” Justin joined him.

Lindsey looked at the clock on the wall, then over at Debbie. “They should have found him by now.” she said. Both women turned as the door of the waiting room opened. It was Emmett, Ted, and Michael.

“We can’t find him, we’ve looked everywhere.” Michael said.

“How’s Brian?” Ted asked.

“He’s going to have another heart attack if Justin’s not here when he wakes up.” Debbie said.

Lindsey relayed the doctor’s report to the returning posse, as Debbie tried Justin’s number again. There was still no answer.

The door of the waiting room opened again. “He’s in his room now.” The nurse entered, and announced. “Which one of you is Justin? He’s asking for you.” she smiled.

“He’s not here yet.” Emmett said.

The smile fell from the nurses face. “Oh no.”

“Can’t you give him something?” Debbie asked.

“Like what? He won’t let me give him anything. He says he have to stay awake.”

“Can’t you slip it in his IV?” Debbie suggested.

“Not if he refuses. Do you want me to loose my license?”

“Michael, you go in.” Lindsey said.

“Why me?”

“You’re his best friend.”

“Yeah.” Debbie said sarcastically.

“Why don’t we all go in?” Emmett said.

“Not me.” Ted said. “I don’t want to be there when Brian throws a fit, and blows his artery.”

“Oooh!” They all gasped said in unison.

“Ma, you go in.” Michael ordered. The others nodded in agreement.

The nurse accompanied Debbie down the hall. “What are you going to tell him?” she asked.

“The fuck if I know.” Debbie said.

As the two turned the corner, they came upon a man standing outside of Brian’s door. “Debbie, from the diner right?” he asked.

Debbie looked at the handsome stranger. How could she forget that face. “You’re Sunshine’s friend, Mr. Massey. Where is Justin? Is he with you?”

Tony pointed to Brian’s door. “Justin called his mother. She told him what was going on, and I brought him here.” he said.

“Thank you Mr. Massey.” Debbie sighed with relief. “Oh god, thank you.”

Tony smiled. “I’d better go now.” he said. Debbie watched as Anthony Massey headed for the elevator doors, then stopped abruptly, and turned around. “Debbie, when Brian’s feeling better, will you give him a message for me?” he asked.

“Sure.”

“Tell Brian this is the second time that I’ve brought his little tomcat back to him. Next time, I’m going to keep him.” The smile was now gone from Anthony Massey’s face, he was dead serious.

“I’ll tell him.” Debbie promised.

Brian was still groggy, but awake enough to recognize the breathing coming from the head resting on his bed. He lifted his hand, and gently stroked his fingers through the familiar blonde hair. “Hey baby.” he whispered. Brian sounded as weak as he looked.

Justin lifted his head and smiled. “Hey.”

“Where’ve you been?”

“Lost, you know I can’t find my way without you.” Justin’s voice trembled as he fought back the tears.

Brian blinked his sleepy eyes, and slowly lifted the covers. He smiled slightly as he watched his baby kick off his shoes, and take his rightful place, cradled against his side. Justin lifted his head, and brushed a kiss across his lover’s throat. “Ummm.” Brian moaned as Justin gently stroked his belly. “I love you baby.” he sighed. “I love you so much.”

“How much?” Justin asked between sniffles.

“More than “Armani” suits.” Brian whispered, as a tear trickled from the corner of his eyes.

“More.”

“More than vanilla ice cream.”

“More.”

Brian paused for a moment. “More than Anthony Massey.” he said.

Justin lifted his head. “Brian I....”

“Shhhhh. Not now baby, daddy’s tired.” Brian pulled his baby closer, and closed his eyes.
