Angel Eyes

Chapter 2

Justin sighed loudly and plopped down on the sofa. He was well into day number two of his prescribed rest. He knew he was driving Brian a bit crazy but he couldn’t help it. He felt fine and wanted to go out but Brian wouldn’t hear of it. It wasn’t so much as he needed to go out for some air; it was being told that he couldn’t that made the need stronger. Brian had work to do so he couldn’t spend the whole day entertaining him. He had tried sketching a bit but wasn’t happy with any of it. Justin watched a bit of tv with the sound low so as not to disturb Brian. He couldn’t watch tv for long periods of time. His eyes began to tire and the beginnings of a headache would present itself.

Justin got up and wandered over to Brian’s desk. He straddled his boyfriend’s lap. Brian’s arm snaked around his waist absently to keep him there. He jotted down a few more quick notes before looking up into Justin’s amazing blue-violet eyes. Justin wrapped his arms around Brian’s neck.

“When can I see your son?”

Brian tossed his pencil on the desk and leaned back in his chair. He kissed Justin lightly then picked up the phone and dialed a familiar number.

“Hey Lindz, it’s Brian. Is Sonny Boy free today?”

“I suppose, why?”

“Well, my other boy is in dire need of a playmate today.” Brian laughed as Justin tickled his ribs. “Maybe if I’m lucky they’ll tire each other out.”

“How is Justin? The family is all so worried about him.”

“He’s fine, Lindz, really. He’s supposed to rest but you know kids, they get antsy after awhile. Deb invited us to dinner on Monday so we’ll be there. So, can Sonny Boy come over and play with Justin? You can see for yourself that he’s alive and well.”

“I’ll get Gus ready and be over in half an hour.”

“Thanks, Lindz.”

Brian hung up and smiled teasingly at Justin. “There, now you have a playmate for the afternoon.”

Justin threw his arms around Brian and hugged him tight. “I love you, Brian.” Justin felt Brian tense up at his words. He pulled back a little to look at Brian.

Brian opened his mouth to say something, anything, but nothing came out. He quickly shut his mouth. Justin got up from his lap.

“I just wanted to tell you how I felt. I didn’t mean to make you feel uncomfortable.”

Brian sighed. “You didn’t.”

Justin retreated to the sofa where Logan joined him, giving his master comfort. Brian stared blankly at the reports on his desk wondering why he couldn’t just say the words back. He really liked Justin; there was no doubt in his mind. He never wanted to be apart from him. Brian knew he’d never felt this way about anyone, nor would he ever again. What he felt for Justin was indescribable. Maybe that’s why he couldn’t say the words. They stayed in their respective areas till they heard the knock on the door announcing Lindsay’s arrival.

As soon as Brian had the door open Gus pounced on his legs. Brian bent down and scooped up his son.

“Hey, Sonny Boy.”

“Hi, Dada.” Gus hugged him around the neck and gave him a big kiss.

Lindsay lugged in a bag of Gus’ toys and necessities. She set the bag down by the island and went over to Justin. She took his hands in hers and smiled. “Justin, I can’t tell you how relieved I am that you’re okay.”

“Thanks. Oh, and thank you for letting Gus come over and keep me company. I couldn’t wait to see him.”

“Justin!”

Gus wiggled in his father’s arms wanting to get closer to his favorite playmate. Brian handed him over to Justin. Justin smiled down at the little boy and kissed his cheek.

“He’s beautiful, Brian,” he said with a gleaming smile.

“Was there any doubt?” Brian smirked.

Lindsay headed for the door. “I’ll pick Gus up around seven.”

“That’s fine.”

“Dada?”

“What Sonny Boy?” Brian went over to his boys.

“Why is it so dark in here?”

“Justin’s eyes are sensitive to bright light right now.”

Brian had the curtains shut and only a few lights to see by in the loft. Justin took the boy to the sofa to sit. Logan followed close behind in hopes of some ear scratching from the littlest Kinney. Justin sat Gus down on his lap and Brian joined them.

“You’re not scared of the dark, are you? We could turn on some more lights,” Justin asked, being thoughtful of the small boy’s needs.

Gus shook his head. “No, it’s cool.”

Justin looked around the loft and tried to see it through the little boy’s eyes. “Yeah, it is pretty cool with all the lights dimmed, just the right ambience for some serious playtime.”

Gus giggled, Brian sat back watching his two boys.

“Gus I have some very good news to tell you,” Justin started.

“What?”

Justin thought quickly of how to explain his restored sight. “Well before, I was blind. I couldn’t see anything, not you or your daddy. Yesterday I was clumsy and I tripped and hit my head really hard.”

“Did it hurt?” Gus asked concerned for his favorite blonde.

“Yeah, it did a lot, but your daddy was right there to take care of me. When I hit my head I was able to see again, kinda like magic.”

Gus’ face squinched up in thought. “What color is my shirt?”

Brian barked out a laugh. “That’s my boy, he’s testing you.”

Justin had to grin. He sighed dramatically. “Kinney men, always need the proof. Your shirt is green and it has a truck on it.” He tickled the boy’s tummy making him laugh and squeal.

“You all better now?”

Justin smiled at Gus. “I’m getting there. You wanna play with me and Logan?”

Gus nodded excitedly. Justin snagged Gus’ bag of toys and was taking their little party to the bedroom to play so Brian could get some more work done.

“Hold up, boys,” Brian called.

Justin stopped on the stairs.

“Keep it to a dull roar, ok?”

Justin smiled. “Ok, daddy.”

Gus parroted Justin, “Ok, daddy.”

Brian moved in on Justin. His arm slipped around him and gave his ass a firm squeeze. He murmured, “You’ll get yours later, little boy.”

Shivers raced down Justin’s spine. Brian squatted down in front of Gus.

“Don’t wear Justin out too much, ok. He still needs his rest.”

Gus nodded solemnly. Brian kissed him on the top of his head.

“Come on, Gus, let’s get this party started.”

Justin set the toy bag on the bed. He scooped up Gus and tossed him gently in the middle of the king sized bed much to the little boy’s delight.

Brian shook his head and smiled. He made sure one of the bedroom panels was open so he could keep an eye on his boys from time to time. He’d be able to keep an eye on Justin to make sure he didn’t tire himself out. He sat down behind his desk wishing he didn’t have a mountain of paperwork to wade through. He’d like nothing more than to join them.

Justin plopped down on the bed next to Gus.

“Ok, let’s see what kind of goodies you got in here.”

Justin dug through Gus’ bag and pulled out some toy cars. “Oh, you got a little toy Jeep just like Daddy’s car.”

Gus nodded vigorously. “I like to go for rides in the Jeep.”

“Yeah, it is fun.” Justin made highways and tunnels using the sheets on the bed and began racing the Jeep through the rugged terrain. Gus giggled and picked up a yellow car to give chase.

“Would you like to hear the story of how your daddy met me?”

Gus crawled up close to be next to Justin. “Tell me the story.”

Justin ruffled the little boy’s hair. “Your very handsome daddy got on a plane and traveled all the way to California. Do you know where California is?”

Gus shrugged.

“It’s all the way over on the other side of the U.S. Your daddy needed to relax; he was all tense and a bit grumpy. He met me where I worked and told me I had pretty eyes.”

“You do” Gus said smiling.

Justin smiled back. “Thank you, Gus.”

“I was a bit sad that I couldn’t see your daddy. Something happened and I couldn’t see for over two years. I’m glad your daddy didn’t mind. He is a very nice and loving man. As time went on we both knew that we couldn’t be apart so he came and got me, sweeping me off my feet and bringing me back to this place. I got to meet you, and all of your daddy’s friends, and I’m so very glad to be here.”

Gus found Justin’s new sketch book and handed it to Justin. “Can you draw?”

“I sure can. What would you like me to draw for you?”

Gus thought long and hard for a moment. “A horse.”

Justin nodded “excellent choice, with spots?”

Gus nodded his head eagerly.

“Ok.” Justin began sketching a simple horse. It felt so good to be holding a pencil again. Gus watched in rapt fascination as the horse took shape on the page.

“What do you want to call this horse?”

“Fred,” Gus said with out hesitation.

Justin nodded. “Good choice. Fred the horse.”

He added a bit more detail to the sketch. All in all it didn’t turn out too bad. He noticed some parts were slightly off which he was sure had to do with his perception. Since he just regained his sight he hoped that everything would come together eventually. He didn’t feel complete unless he was drawing. The past two and a half years had been the most difficult in his life. How ironic that it took another act of violence for him to regain his sight.

Brian saved all his work as he finished. He leaned back in his chair and stretched. It had been pretty quiet in the bedroom for the last twenty minutes so he decided he better go check on his boys. Brian stopped at the stairs and peeked in. His breath caught at the sight of his two boys. They were both asleep in the middle of the bed. Justin had his arm protectively around Gus. Gus had snuggled up close in his sleep. One of his little hands clasped a lock of long blonde hair. Logan was lying as sentinel at the foot of the bed. Brian crept back out to get his digital camera. The picture was too priceless for words. He quietly took a few pictures, hoping he wouldn’t wake them up. As soon as he got done there was a knock on the door. He quickly answered the door not wanting it to wake the boys. When he pulled back the door Lindsay was there for Gus.

“Hey, Lindz” Brian kept his voice down. “You gotta see something.”

Lindsay curiously followed Brian. She looked up into the bedroom and couldn’t help but smile at the two sleeping boys.

“Oh Brian, they are adorable.”

“I managed to get a few pictures.”

“Oh, could you make me a copy?”

“Sure.”

“I guess they wore each other out.”

Lindsay and Brian crept up the stairs. Brian packed up Gus’ bag while Lindsay tried to extract Gus from Justin’s arms. Justin woke with a small groan. He blinked and looked around.

“Oh hey, Lindsay, I guess we fell asleep.”

“That’s okay, you two looked so cute all cuddled up.”

Justin blushed at the comment.

Lindsay left with Gus still asleep. Brian went to the take-out drawer and rifled through the menus. They decided they both felt like Chinese. Brian made the call while Justin went to the bathroom. Brian dragged out some pillows and arranged them on the floor next to the coffee table. When Justin reappeared he smiled softly at Brian.

“We’re dining on the floor?”

“Sure why not, that way Logan won’t feel left out.”

Justin smirked. “Uh huh, I’m so on to you.”

Brian scratched under Logan’s chin absently. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

When the food came, Brian and Justin set up the spread on the glass table. Brian got his own special chopsticks out of the drawer in the kitchen. They were much better than the cheap wooden ones that came with the meal. Brian sat down next to Justin. He fed Justin a bit of food before he gave him a pair of the high end chopsticks.

“So did you and Sonny Boy have a good time?”

“Yeah it was so much fun. He’s such a great kid.”

“Well, he is my kid.”

Justin smiled. “Yes, he is, and he’s so lucky to have you for a dad.”

Brian arched a brow. “You think so, huh?”

“Yep.”

“I never wanted to be a father but Lindsay talked me into it.”

“Well you’re doing just fine, daddy,” Justin said with a silly grin.

Brian tweaked Justin’s nose with his chopsticks. “Watch it little boy.”

Brian settled Justin’s feet in his lap and massaged them while Justin finished eating. He told himself he wasn’t trying to be romantic. He just couldn’t keep his hands off his little blonde. Sometimes it scared him how much he cared for Justin. Between bites of food Justin purred as his feet were rubbed. Justin managed to get Brian to eat more by feeding him. When the cartons were empty Brian toppled Justin back onto the pillows.

Brian settled himself on top of Justin. They made out like horny teenagers. Brian kissed, caressed and groped Justin slowly; he was in no rush. They rubbed up against each other, feeling each other’s desire. Justin’s moans were turning Brian on. Suddenly Brian got up leaving Justin to grind up against air.

“Hey, get back here!” Justin pouted.

Brian slipped on his Prada boots and got their coats.

“Come on, Angel, let’s go out.”

“Out, out where?” Justin lounged on his forearms, still on the floor.

“I just thought you might like to go out with Logan and me for a walk. You’ve been cooped up in the loft. It’s night so nothing should hurt your eyes.”

“But,” Justin looked down at the bulge in his jeans.

Brian turned to Logan. “Do you want to go for a walk?”

Logan responded by getting up and eagerly fetching his leash. He trotted over to Brian where Brian hooked it on his collar.

Justin gave Logan the evil eye. “You traitor! How could you? I was about to get lucky. You’re supposed to be on my side.”

Brian laughed, “Come on, Justin, Logan has spoken.”

Justin grumbled but took his coat from Brian. Justin gave his crotch a comforting squeeze. “You will take care of this when we get back, right?”

Brian smiled and kissed the tip of Justin’s nose. “Of course.”

Justin eagerly took Brian’s hand, pulling him out the door. “Then let’s go.”

Brian and Justin walked around the block. Justin had his arm hooked through Brian’s while Brian had the leash. Brian was taking his boys for a walk. Justin breathed in the cool night air and snuggled up to Brian.

“This is nice.”

“I thought you might like it.”

“I feel normal again, like I’ve gotten my life back. I never thought I’d be able to see again; I’ve really missed it.”

“I just hope your mother doesn’t castrate me and take you back home with her.”

Justin snorted. “I’m here to stay. I belong right here with you. If she can’t understand that then that’s her problem.”

“I… I want you here with me,” Brian whispered.

“Good.” Justin smiled back.

Brian awoke the next morning; he squinted at the alarm clock then groaned. Justin sleepily nuzzled his nose in Brian’s neck. He caressed Brian’s chest.

“What’s wrong?” Justin asked without opening an eye.

“We have to pick your mother up at the airport in less than an hour.”

“Brian, what you have to remember is that her bark is worse than her bite.”

Justin’s hand crept beneath the sheet to grab Brian’s morning hard on. Justin began to stroke softly. Brian moaned and arched up into Justin’s hand.

“God, that feels good,” Brian murmured.

“Just relax, let all your tension go. Once you get off you’ll feel much better.” Justin smiled.

Just as Brian was getting into it Justin took his hand away and flung back the blankets. Justin hopped up and scampered to the bathroom.

“Hey, you little shit, get back here and finish what you started.”

Justin giggled, “Come and take a shower with me and I’ll finish you off.”

Brian growled and leapt up. He snagged Justin around the waist, picking him up and spinning him around. He kissed him good morning then deposited Justin in front of the shower. Once inside, Brian began soaping Justin under the warm spray. Justin loved taking showers with Brian. As soon as Justin rinsed the soap off he dove down on Brian’s erection. Brian braced himself against the back wall as Justin greedily sucked his dick. Justin massaged the head of Brian’s dick with his throat muscles causing the older man to moan. He fondled Brian’s balls in a soft but firm rhythm. He could feel Brian gently tugging on his hair. Justin knew Brian loved his long hair; he was always running his fingers through it.

His index finger crept behind Brian’s balls taking up a caressing motion. Brian arched his hips forward. Justin boldly nudged his pucker. Brian groaned as he felt Justin’s finger enter him. Justin finger fucked his tight little hole while he sucked him off. Justin twisted and curled his finger while he constricted his throat muscles.

Brian’s hands scrabbled along the wet tile trying to find something to hang onto. His hips bucked of their own accord. As Justin tapped his prostate hard and fast, Brian howled as cum burst out of his slit and down Justin’s throat. Justin had to swallow fast to keep up. Some of Brian’s cum trickled out of the corner of his mouth and ran down his chin. Brian pulled him to his feet. He licked his cum off Justin’s face then kissed him hard, his tongue delving in to seek more of his essence. Brian reciprocated in the same way leaving Justin weak in the knees.

Brian and Justin dressed for the day. Before they went out the door, Brian made sure Justin had on his dark glasses. The drive to the airport was made with Justin chattering away beside him. He answered Justin in one word replies. Justin could sense the tension. He rested his hand on Brian’s thigh to comfort the man. Justin knew Brian was nervous to see his mother again, especially in light of recent events. Justin held Brian’s hand as they waited at the gate. They didn’t have long to wait before Jennifer separated herself from the crowd. Justin waved happily and rushed over to meet his mom. They hugged each other tight.

“Mom, it’s really good to see you.”

“Oh Justin, I had hoped you’d get your sight back. Are you okay? Can you really see?”

“Mom, I’m fine. Brian had me cooped up in the loft and wouldn’t let me out of his sight. Yes, I can see. You’re wearing an ivory shirt and your brown coat.” Justin led his mother over to where Brian was standing, trying to include him in the greetings. “Gus pulled the same trick with me.”

“Who’s Gus, dear?”

Justin hesitated. “Um, didn’t I tell you? Brian has a son, Gus, he’s nearly three.”

“No, I think you failed to mention that.”

“Well Gus is a great little boy; we’ve had a few occasions to get to know each other and hang out.”

Jennifer retrieved her luggage. Brian relieved her of the heavy bag and started herding them towards the Jeep.

“So what did the doctors say?”

“I had a concussion, but I’m fine. I’ve had plenty of bed rest. I still have to wear dark glasses in the light and keep the lights dim in the loft for about a month. Nothing is blurry anymore. It was a freak accident.”

They made their way out to Brian’s Jeep. Brian drove Jennifer to the closest hotel which thankfully was near the airport. Once Jennifer was checked in Brian made his excuses.

“I think I’m going to head into the office for a few hours. I’ll let you catch up with your mom.”

“Brian…”

“Have a good time and don’t overdo it. Rest if you get tired, and if you need me, call. I’ll leave my cell on.”

Justin opened his mouth to protest but before he could say anything Brian was kissing him then was out the door.

“Well, if you’re feeling up to it why don’t we go shopping? I’m sure you could always use more new clothes.”

“Sure, that sounds great. I just wish you and Brian would get along. Like it or not he’s the one. I love him so much.”

“You’re just going to have to give me time. You’re my only son and I worry about you.”

Justin sighed; this was an old argument. “Mom, I can take care of myself. I also have Logan and now Brian. I’m in good hands.”

“So how exactly did Brian come to have a child?”

“His friend from college wanted him to be the father of her child. She is raising Gus with her partner Melanie.”

“Oh well, that’s nice. Does Brian play an active roll in Gus’ life?”

“Of course, I mean he’s very busy at the agency but he does set aside time to see his son.”

Justin and his mother went shopping and got bags of new clothes for Justin. His mother still liked to treat him to gifts when she could. Justin had the best time with his mother. He thought maybe he knew why Brian bowed out; it was so he could have this time alone with her. He had missed her a lot but he wouldn’t give up his new life with Brian for anything. They had lunch together and caught up with each others lives. He was so happy to actually see his mother again. Justin invited her to the dinner at Deb’s, so she could meet his new extended family and see for herself that he did have great people around him.

He took a taxi back to the loft with all his shopping bags. Justin set the bags on the shelf by the bedroom. He kicked off his shoes and crawled in bed for a nap. He was more exhausted than he realized. When Brian came home he found Justin asleep in bed and crawled up next to him for a nap himself.
