Sun Shines Brightly

Chapter 4

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Justin's POV

When I step out of the teepee all I can think about is Brian, and how good his manhood felt in my hand. I know very well he could have cleaned himself, but I also know that for some reason I wanted to do it. Even if it did seem frightening and almost unnatural until I held him. I'm amazed to realize how comfortable I felt touching him. It seemed so natural, and I felt my own manhood growing hard as well. That is what scared me most. I wanted to touch him and bring him to climax. I had to stop, before it was too late, before I forgot about everyone I love. For the sake of my family, I had to stop, or I knew I would fall under his spell and maybe never return. I could fall into his hazel eyes and live there forever.

I am drawn out of my thoughts when I hear Serpent Moon clear her throat. I glare at her for a moment and there is sadness in her eyes as she shakes her head at me. "We should call you Day Dreamer."

"Then you should be Irritating Pest," I growl at her.

She bites her lower lip. "I hope you're not going to see the chief with that attitude. He is very upset."

I walk closer to her and give her an apologetic hug. "I'm sorry I snapped, and I know he is upset. Why would he not be? I just brought the white man into our village."

She draws back and smiles lightly. "You can handle yourself with him. I am sure it will be okay, just tell him the truth." She looks deep into my eyes and gasps. "Never mind, don't tell him the whole truth. I see the difficult decisions that lay ahead of you," she whispers in my ear. "Be careful where your mind wanders concerning the stranger, for what you seek, my dear cousin, can bring heartache. Please do not share with anyone in the village the desire that lies in your heart."

I look at her sadly. "How did you…how could you know?"

She looks at me gravely. "When I walked into the teepee I saw how you were gazing at each other. He's no good, Sunshine. You have a sweet wife and a loving child and..."

I cut her off, ignoring her comments. "Night Song already knows."

She looks at me stunned, and when I walk away I hear her whisper under her breath, "May the Spirits help us."

I walk into my father-in-law's teepee and the lump begins to immediately form in my stomach. He paces angrily when he hears me, then turns around, and I can see the fire burning in his eyes. I swallow hard and my voice strains when I try to speak "You wanted to see me, Chief Thunder Cloud?"

He places his hands behind his back and walks over to me. His voice is intimidating when he begins to speak. "I am not pleased that you brought a white man into our village, Sun Shines Brightly." Uh oh, my full name. "That was a dangerous and ignorant thing to do," he continues.

"He was hurt."

Thunder Cloud looks directly into my eyes, and his own are emotionless and cold. "Then you should have left him to die. He would have done the same to you if your places were exchanged."

At first I am upset that the chief would say such a thing, and then I remember that his world is harsher than mine. But, I can feel Brian's heart, and I know his soul. Confidently I speak my mind. "I do not think he would ever intentionally leave someone to die. I can feel that Brian has a kind heart."

The chief shakes his head. "I also have heard he has a sharp tongue."

I smile wryly. "That too."

Chief paces back and forth, deep in thought, and then turns to look at me. "I have spoken to my daughter and she told me that she had visions of this man, and that she helped bring him to the village to be healed. I may not be happy that he is here, but I know my daughter, and I know she would not bring someone here who would bring harm upon us. He can stay until he is healed, only because Night Song has promised to keep a close eye on him. But if he endangers our tribe in any way, his life is forfeit. As soon as he is healed, and is able to take his journey home, I want him gone." He walks back over to me and I see confusion and sadness in his eyes. "And you, my son, are walking a very fine line with me too. I am not happy with a lot of the choices you have made recently. I still feel you have put our tribe in great danger and mostly you have put my daughter and grandchild in danger. I am giving Night Song the benefit of the doubt. I know she is protecting you, but there is something I really do not like about him being here. If he causes any trouble I will ask you to leave our village as well. I love you as my own son, but I will not have my family hurt because of you." He turns briskly and walks out of the teepee. His loud steps vibrate through my soul and I am left stunned and confused.

I know I promised Brian I would come back soon, but now I am not sure I can face him. His warm breath against mine felt so right, and how I long to feel that again, but Chief Thunder Cloud's words are etched into my heart and I know now more than ever I need to tread these waters carefully.

I am just about to walk past Serpent Moon's teepee without stopping when I realize I need to put my feelings aside. First things first; he needs to be cared for and healed. I cannot let my personal feelings impair his health.

I am startled when I see Serpent Moon running towards me, her face is flushed, and I can tell she is very upset. She is about to hurry right past me when I grab her arm. "Serpent Moon, what is wrong?"

She gasps and then growls out in anger. "That…that Brian he...he is an infuriating, disgusting, vile human being." I look around, hoping no one can hear her. I am also thankful she is speaking in our English tongue. I do not want the village to become concerned about the stranger.

I walk her over closer to the teepee and sit her down on a nearby stone. "What happened? I was not gone long."

She shakes her head and sighs. "I went to check on him and I found him touching himself." I raise my brow at her to continue. She sighs with exasperation. "He was touching his manhood and having sex with himself."

I bite my lower lip and try not to laugh at her disgusted expression . "Well, did you ask him to stop?"

She gasps. "Of course I did! It was inappropriate and uncalled for. He just got angry and told me to get out. Chased from my own home!"

I can't help but be amused about the whole situation, and I smile to myself knowing full well I am the reason he had to find sexual release. I did leave him in quite the predicament. I clear my throat, preventing myself from laughing. "You go and cool off, and I will see how he is doing."

She looks at me with relief and then touches my hand. "Be careful, he is a ruthless one."

"I'll be fine."

When I approach the flap of the teepee I can hear Brian moaning and instantly I am concerned that he may be in pain. I slowly enter the teepee and I feel my heart begin to pick up, my manhood becoming hard at the sight before me. Brian has his hand firmly wrapped around his own manhood, and I watch in wonder as he writhes in his pleasure. He thrusts hard into his hand, then lightly rubs his thumb over the head of his cock, gasping in pure ecstasy. He tilts his head back and there is a slight smile playing across his lips as he arches his back and finds release. He grunts and I try to will my own hardness down as his fluids splatter over his hand and stomach. He opens his eyes and looks directly at me as he pants heavily. "So, Sunshine, did you enjoy the show?" he asks breathlessly, then chuckles to himself.

Brian's POV

Serpent Moon has finally left and I can get back to what I was doing. Christ, you'd think she'd never seen a cock before. I grin slyly to myself at how angry she had been when she walked in and caught me. I don't know how she can blame me; it was all her cousin's fault. Sunshine and his bath; I groan and stroke harder just thinking about it.

The flap opens again and I hiss, thinking that it's Serpent Moon coming to interrupt me again. I open my eyes a bit and happily see that my visitor is the very same man who put me in this state to begin with. I drop my lids down and finish myself off with a flourish. When I'm done I slowly open my eyes and let my gaze rest on the beautiful young man who is standing transfixed. His reaction to my show is obvious, but I can't help mentioning it. "So, Sunshine, did you enjoy the show?"

He starts and then blushes, looking down to the floor. "I..."

"Don't bother answering. I can see that you did," I comment huskily. God, he's so gorgeous with that innocent red upon his cheeks, yet I know he is not innocent. I heard him with his wife last night, and they have a child, but with me, with another man, he is all innocence. I want to devour his pale skin and make him mine. He shifts uncomfortably, still unable to look at me, and then I feel a deep desire to brush the stray tendril of hair from his forehead and hold him in my arms. What the hell? Where in God's name did that thought come from? I sound like some romantic sissy. Get a hold of yourself, Kinney. "So, are you in trouble?"

Sensing that I'm done teasing him he finally raises his eyes to meet mine. "A little, but Thunder Cloud is my wife's father so he has given me some slack. He does want you gone as soon as you are able, though."

I nod at him in understanding and then study him intently. "Your wife is the chief's daughter? Doesn't that make you a prince or something?"

He snorts. "Hardly. It makes me nothing more than a member of our tribe. I am Shaman, hunter, and sometime warrior. There is no royalty here, only people doing what we must do to survive. In fact I am not even favored by anyone very much right now."

"Because of me?" I feel bad that I have made his people unhappy with him. I sensed that I've caused him more than enough turmoil by just existing.

He smiles and I melt just a little bit more. "No. Not only because of you."

"Tell me," I say softly.

He looks surprised and takes a deep breath. "No, I cannot tell you right now. I am not ready to speak of it."

I'm amazed that he is even considering it at all. The next words leave my mouth before I can even think. "I will listen when you are ready." My God! What in the hell am I saying?

He smiles again and fuck if I'm not a puddle, oh, except for my cock. Of course that's hard again. He eyes my unruly dick and raises a brow.

"Thank you, I'll remember that," he replies, obviously deciding to ignore my problem. "Oh, and could you please try to refrain from certain activities when my cousin could be in the vicinity. She was very upset just now." He is trying to sound serious, but I see the slightly evil glint in his eye.

"Well she moves so quietly. How am I supposed to know she's coming?"

"Kind of like a serpent?"

I stare at him for a moment and then bark out a laugh. Christ, he is amazing. "Exactly," I gasp out.

"I'll tell her to make more noise. Perhaps we can change her name to Buffalo Moon."

"Great, give her another reason to dislike me."

Now it's his turn to laugh. "No, I agree, she does not need any more of those." He shakes his head a little as his blue gaze rests upon me. "You are a mystifying man, Brian Kinney," he says softly.

"It's all part of my charm."

He snorts again. "I see that." He kneels down, feeling my forehead and examining my wound. "No sign of infection. If all is well in a few days, you'll be ready to get up."

"Then I can get out of your hair," I comment. His shining, golden hair, that I'm longing to touch. Jesus! Stop it!

"No, then you can get up and move around a bit. You'll be nowhere near ready to leave. I do want to take you somewhere that will help you heal faster though."

"Where?"

"Ah, you will just have to wait and see."

"Now, who's being mystifying?"

"I am a Shaman, it's part of my charm," he retorts, tongue in cheek.

We share a silent look for what seems like an eternity. I could get lost in those eyes forever. Suddenly I feel myself moving my face closer to his.

"Sunshine," I hear a female voice call from outside. "I need some help with these hides."

He pulls back. "That is Night Song. I must go." He leaves quickly, not looking back.

I blow out a breath and fall back against my bed. "I hope he gets a chance to talk with Serpent Moon real soon," I say out loud as I once again reach for my aching cock.
