Debts
A short drabble set at the end of the first GC story arc.

The funeral expenses have been added to his account at Florian's insistence.
He is the last of his family; with Mother gone, it falls to him to repay the
family's debts - in cash or with his flesh.
The half-healed wounds he carries on his back and the reddened cut on his chest
are just the beginning. He tries not to wonder what will be demanded of him
next.
The cemetery is damp, the bodies in the tomb unrecognizable or absent. Florian
bows his head but does not cry. Ray is waiting and there are debts to be repaid.
